Clean and bright on the palate. Complex and elegant with red fruit aromas, toasted notes and soft, ripe tannins.

The area
Area: P. D. O. Jumilla
Vintage: 2021
Variety: 100% Monastrell
Vineyard: Dryland vines planted in a “2,5×2,5” real frame on
brown-limesDne soil, with a sandy-clay-loam texture,
and a density of 1500 vines.
Altitude: 800 meters above sea level
Yield: 3,000/ 3,500kg. per hectare approximately
Climate: Continental influenced by the Mediterranean and the
Manchegan plateau. It is sunny and arid, receiving 3000
hours of sunshine yearly and low rainfall (300 liters per
year). The average annual temperature is of 16ºC.
Winters are cold with temperatures below zero, and
Summers are very hot, reaching over 40ºC.
The Production
Elaboration: The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in 10,000 kg stainless steel tanks, where fermentation
and maceration take place for 14 days at a
temperature of 25ºC.
Ageing: In American oak barrels for 5 months, and further refining in our bottle racks for 3 months.
The Personality
Appearance: Clean and bright, with an attractive intense cherry color.
Scent: Complex and elegant, revealing intense aromas of
black fruit compote, delicate toasted notes, and fine
hints of white spices from ageing.
Palate: Ample, fleshy, and well-structured. So[ and ripe
tannins, pleasant and persistent finish, expressing with intensity the character of the Monastrell grape.
