Elaborated with 100% Monastrell grapes, handpicked from unirrigated 50-year-old vines with a yield of 2.500kg/ha. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months and subsequently refined in our bottle racks for 6 months.
Cherry-red colour, ruby on the edges. It has aromas of vanilla, cocoa and liquorice. It has ripe and persistent tannins. It is very pleasant on the palate, with an elongated path in the mouth.

The area
Area: P. D. O. Jumilla
Vintage: 2020
Variety: 100% Monastrell
Vineyard: Dry-farmed vines planted more than 50 years ago, in a
stony limestone-brown soil, very poor in organic matter.
Al/tude: 600 meters above sea level
Yield: 2,200kg/ha. approximately
Climate: Continental influenced by the Mediterranean and the
Manchegan plateau. It is sunny and arid, receiving 3000
hours of sunshine yearly and low rainfall (300 liters per
year). The average annual temperature is of 16ºC.
Winters are cold with temperatures below zero, and
Summers are very hot, reaching over 40ºC.
The Production
Elaboration: The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in 10,000 kg stainless steel tanks, where fermenta:on
and macera:on take place for 15 days at a
temperature of 25ºC.
Ageing: In American oak barrels for 12 months, and further refining in our boEle racks for 6 months.
The Personality
Appearance: Deep cherry color with ruby tones on the rim.
Scent: Vanilla aromas, very powerful in the nose. Clean and with good intensity and notes of oak, cocoa and licorice.
Palate: In the mouth, it is persistent and pleasant, with ripe and persistent tannins.
