With all the strength and power of oaks, this wine is produced with 100% Monastrell grapes, harvested by hand and fermented during 15 days at 25ºC. Subsequently it is aged in American and French oak barrels during 6 months.
Of medium-high cherry red colour, powerful, clean and complex with ripe fruit aromas and hints of new oak wood. Well constituted in the palate. Balance, full-bodied and with very good persistence.

The area
Area: P. D. O. Jumilla
Vintage: 2021
Variety: 100% Monastrell
Vineyard: Dryland vines planted in a “2,5×2,5” real frame on brown-limestine soil, with a sandy-clay-loam texture,
and a density of 1500 vines.
Altitude: 850 meters above sea level
Yield: 3,500 kg/ha. approximately
Climate: Continental influenced by the Mediterranean and the
Manchegan plateau. It is sunny and arid, receiving 3000
hours of sunshine yearly and low rainfall (300 liters per
year). The average annual temperature is of 16ºC.
Winters are cold with temperatures below zero, and
Summers are very hot, reaching over 40ºC.
The Production
Elaboration: The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in 10,000 kg stainless steel tanks, where fermenta:on
and macera:on take place for 15 days at a
temperature of 25ºC.
Ageing: In American oak barrels for 5 months, and further refining in our bottle racks for 3 months.
The Personality
Appearance: Intense cherry-red color
Scent: Powerful, clean, and complex with ripe fruit aromas
and hints of new oak wood.
Palate: Well-constituted, balanced, full-bodied and with a
very good persistence.
